Hopefully my pic will not be wiped off this weeks PUB  so..... it's Friday. I had to stop off at the spa before I came to the Pub. :) not really - but wouldn't that be nice!!!!!

First a congrats to ChitChatNine for becoming our CL on the board!! and to DLA also - she became a CL on another board and will be missed very much here. Hopefully her little flower will check in once in a while too :)

Bummer week here for me... (HOW CAN THAT BE WHEN ON A PAID VACATION) ?? ... but it was. How was everyone's Easter - any "inlaw" stories you want to share? What's spring like where you live right now? it is unbelieveable here in Wisconsin - still snow on the ground!! The record this year has exceeded 100' - Thank Gosh it took 5 months to fall.

I see many new (what do you call them AR--- "handles" ) screen names visiting us lately!! I hope all of you new members are getting the support you need to understand your current situation. Our Pub is designed to get to know and laugh at each other. It is a cyber bar. It may sound a bit goofy - but it has been alot of fun at times when everyone participates. (usually we chicks gang up on the guys a bit and give them a hard time!!!) but they handle it and the come backs are great :)

So --- for the newbie's this week - let's invite them in. Hopefully we will see some great personalities - but we always practice good behavior when we post.

AR is always generous in free drink specials.

Hey all.   First round is on me in celebration of Cheryl and Dac's rise to greatness on the MedHelp pecking-order.   (Chicken joke - pecking order, get it?)   Ahhh, never mind.

Not the best of weeks so I'll just be parked over in the corner mumbling incoherently.  I'm not drunk - just a thyroid patient.

I'm having an entire pitcher of cyber-margaritas over here with a straw, please.  Whatever everyone wants is on me - then the rest will be picked up by the guys (see what happens when you come late to the pub guys??).

Off to my booth to stare at everyone else, mumble to myself, and show my chicken teeth.

News of the week...Nanny's in the hospital, since Tuesday. She's out now, but in extended care in another hospital about 15 miles away. For a couple of weeks. It's just wrong to say this, but it's like vacation time around here.

I've been busy making myself sick all week trying to do too much every other day. Things had better change. I can't sit at home the rest of my life.

Don't even have the energy to sit at the table and chat. I'll be in the corner. You guys can shoot tin foil spit wads at me with straws.

I wish I could belly-up to the bar and have a drink but I'm really tired and recovering from my surgery this past Tuesday. I would probably fall off my stool, hit my head and knock myself out.

Before I leave to lie down, I raise my glass of OJ to toast all of you and to thank everyone for their support, thoughts and prayers. Have a drink on me and hopefully I can join in next Friday.

Never thought of the medical pic AR -- but good...... I just find that pic is what would of really been wonderful to do this week for me. .. not parked on the couch waiting for those quack heads to call..... and never did.

A very WARM WELCOME to CATIE and her recent surgery as she starts her recover .... she says she is drinking OJ and toasting us but we want to know WHAT IS REALLY IN THAT OJ anyway?    

Now, who shall we "hen peck" tonight ...... seems The Car Man is nowhere to be found?  ...  

AR is in the corner ...... (probably on a time-out but he isn't telling us the truth!!!).

Stella, with all your emotional turmoil (or shall I say TINFOIL) you've been under this wee,k I commend you for coming out to the Pub with us!  Remember, Birds of a Feather Stick Together .. Yeah that is us on this community ... thru thick and thin. (you like that one?)

The last time I felt like falling off the chair was when the ENT took that "nasty" probe and looked down my esophagus and for those who have had this little scope .. well, it isn't too much fun and you want to fall off the chair and really fast!!!

I got a corner!!  But I'm sticking my recliner in it, cause I'm just not feeling up to collapsing on the floor.  Glad I got her early.  Keep the music mellow for me tonight and send me something REALLY strong over in my corner.  Oh, yeah, I forget it's serve yourself.  Okay, anybody looking for the good gin, it will be over in my corner with me having a private party.

Hey guys!!  I'm in such a fog that I couldn't count to see if there was a corner leftover for me.  Bad week here.  I held on to the prescription for Wellbutrin for a week thinking I could shake it, and broke down and got it filled tonight.  

So.......I'm taking my long island tea and heading for the corner.  I probably won't last long, but just wanted to stop in and say hi to all my buddies!!!

Hey yall, this PUB thing is pretty neat. Like I told Cheryl today,I don't drink, but I might just start!!!! I think I'll pull me a bar stool over by Dac (found out today,we have something in common) LOL....(inside joke) Anyways, when I was a young chicken(no pun intended) I did drink a few over on Harry Hines Ave. in Dallas. I remember spinning on my bar stool so fast, i got dizzy and fell off backwards. Hey, where are the pickled pig feet,you gotta have a jar of them....Does this Pub have dancing music? Heres some quarters Utah,get that juke-box arocking!!! Let's party till the lights go out!!!! I'll drink to that....another round on me!!!
