In October 2011 I had an MRI because I was having migraines. My neurologist referred me to an endo and I found out I have 12 nodules in my thyroid, one out of the 12 is cold. I was diagnosed with a nontoxic multinodular goiter. The endo thinks its genitic and that I have hashi's because my mother and three of my aunts have had their thyroid removed. He said its not a
Matter of if I need to have it out but when. Eventually he recommends me to remove it completely but I'm olny 29. Has anyone gone through the surgery?
