Please HELP!!!

Hello well I finally signed up after reading these forums for over a year.Ive been on painkillers due to my back problems for about 5years now,I am currently taking about ten 30mg. Roxicets a day.I went to the emergency room the other day to see if i could get an injection in my back for the pain so i could quit the painkillers cold turkey, the emergency room Dr. said it wouldnt be a problem to write me a script for Clonodine and one for colonopin.Has anyone tried this method? or is my habit too high for those meds to help.I tried quitting before and had a runny nose and watery eyes followed by body aches cold sweats no sleep and just feeling really frustrated with off and on depression.Does anyone know if the Clonodine and colonopin will help with any of those symptoms? And im also open to any suggestions or help from anyone I really wanna quit the pills they have taken over my life
PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clonodine helps the bowels so u r not nauseated, blood pressure as often a blood pressure will spike during wd..helps u sleep and also helps anxiety...the Klonopin mostly just helps with anxiety and sleep..neither will prolong narcotic wd but the klonopin is a benzo which is habit forming but not if used for just a week or 2..safest would be the clonidine then the klonopin for any break thru anxiety

One last thought...Why do u have pills in ur house if ur gonna quit them?..if mentally u have decided u will fail, then chances r u will fail....keeping pills means u dont mean business in most cases..flushing can be  very empowering cos it shows those lil puppies who has the power//like they care//but u do care..and u have control over them..so watch them go bye bye into the sewage system and u will move forward..and will never end up in the sewer

Yes -- they both will help. Take it easy on the clonidine, though -- it's for your blood pressure jump; make sure your pulse doesn't drop below 60bts/min -- use as directed!

The Klonopin will calm you down, but take it mostly at night to sleep. It could be a pretty rough go for a few days, but you have the best meds at your disposal.

Check with this doctor if you're having serious problems.

Let us know how it's going.
