Opiate withdrawals

Hi, I have been doing 100 mgs of hyrocodone daily, today was my quit day. This is my second detox this year. I had 5 mg saved for this morning when things got bad. I opened my dresser drawer and found 2 pills I forgot about. So today I took 20 mgs total. I have 5 mgs saved for morning. I have been having WD's, I am scared for the days to follow. When I get through this again, I am going to never take a pill again, not one. This is how I relasped. Ended up in ER with extreme neck pain, I took the script from doc. My addict said, "you can have a couple, you are in pain". I did take a couple and sold the rest of them. Bought some on the street that same week. Ugh!!!! It is crazy how it the addiction progresses after relaspe.

We are in the same boat. I am on day although I have had minimum doses of opiates, I am still withdrawing. Been in bed 2 days. Thank god I took time off for this. Good luck to you, it is nice to know we are not alone!

Congrats on your decision to quit. You WILL thank yourself after all is said and done. Wd's don't last forever THANK GOD and you will be feeling better before you know it. Like kimby, if they were around me I was going to take them. You need to stay as far away from pills as u can especially while detoxing. If you are determined to quit you CAN quit.... Best of luck to you

I'm in the same boat. I took a few for my migraine after quitting for 1 week, well-a few turned into 40 pills in one week gone. If they are in my reach, my brain can NOT say no. It's awful. Congrats on quitting again:) it's 3am and I'm up on night 2 of wds. Not fun stuff :(
