Hope you are hanging in there. I struggle with the same situation. I hope you have had a chance to explore this forum a bit more. The people on here are great, and it helps to realize you are not alone. It can be so tough to end the cycle, but heart health anxiety is so tough, especially because your physical symptoms are so inline with the area that is of most concern. I have had chest pain, back pain, palpitations, and my Cardiologist has reassured me that I am fine. I know how hard it is to believe what they say is true, but worrying can prevent nothing, and only perpetuated your symptoms. Keep us posted and we are here if you need us.

You might want to talk with your doc about getting on a beta blocker to reduce your heart racing episodes. It will also help reduce your anxiety. Been there, doing that!
Anxiety is well known to cause chest pain. And of course the chest pain causes anxiety, and it can become a vicious circle. One thing to keep in mind is that cardiac pain is generally more intense than pain caused by anxiety. If you're not having any other symptoms like shortness of breath, sweating, etc. then it's probably just anxiety. Also, if it goes away when you take an Ativan or Xanax, you can rest assured it's almost certainly anxiety. But if you ever have pain or symptoms that are new, you shouldn't hesitate to seek medical care.
My suggestion from one who's been there many times is this: try not to dwell on the chest pains, and practice some relaxation techniques. Yoga, meditation, light exercise, guided imagery, whatever.
I have the same phobia but it's due to years of anxiety and my heart racing and pvc's because of my fear to exercise I've gained 50lbs in the last 6 years. I tell my Dr my heart races when I'm not exercising why would I want to purposely do it to get that uncomfortable feeling...its a struggle to get over this fear but I have been trying but just with walking. About your chest pain though have you thought about going to see a chiropractor? Because of our anxieties our body tenses up this could be a side effect....all tests came back fine for you so try the chiropractor route...a great adjustment of you spine will release a lot of tension. You'd be amazed on how everything is connected.
I have experienced this as well, ever since I was a kid. So I know where you're coming from. I have an e-book I can send you on chest pain and anxiety that you may find very helpful. Send me a private message with your email and I'll send it.
I also experience some of the symptoms here and there. I know how scary they can be. I would say that this is one of those times where you need to trust that you are fine.
Do you have any bad habits that could cause heart disease? Does it run in your family? Have you tired doing deep breathing when you feel these symptoms coming on?
