Sorry that you are really having a tough time right now. I really think you need to try either a different dosage of the meds you are currently on or a new med all together. I would see if you could get an appointment with your dr/therapist this week.
As hard as it is try and not focus too much on the anxiety. If you can concentrate on something else you might be able to calm down and start feeling better.
Please keep us posted....Feel better....Sending you lots of hugs....
I'm so sorry your feeling this way today. Most of us with anxiety go through the same thing so we do understand. Have you taken your anxiety meds today?
It's happening again today. I am feeling jittery and nervous, almost like guilty.
i don't know much about that - but i do want you to know that you're not alone when it comes to fearing agoraphobia.
Ever thought you had Parkinson's Disease? I am not sure this comes with the agoraphobia, but almost every day for the past 2 weeks, I will get to shaking all over, being very, well like a person with Parkinson's.
I agree that it might be time to change your meds. Continue with therapy but I would also recommend you try and find some other outlets for you. Such as maybe try yoga. You don't even have to go to a class for that you can get some dvd's and do the excercises at home.
Also, try keeping a journal. Sometimes just writing things down can actually be helpful. There are always Chakra relaxation sessions you can do.
I know with the economy finding a job is difficult but I would just keep my eye out for something else. You never know something better might come your way.
Feel better...Oh you are not losing you are just a little down right now but you will beat this monster, just keep your focus.
Sending lots of love your way!

I have been on Cymbalta for about 4 years. Maybe it is time for a change.
Cymbalta is one of the more stimulating antidepressants. I've taken it myself and it did nothing for my anxiety but make it worse.I'm not saying it does'nt help many people, it does. You might want to talk to your Dr about switching to a different med. Many of the antidepressants help with both depression and anxiety.
