I cannot go to the cardio dr until i get medical which will be in late january to early or mid febuary.
I wasnt worried bout my heart today or anything ALL day today and just a few moments ago, BAM!!! I just felt inwardly dizzy no fast heart rate, no nothing. shortness of breath and dizzy feeling and like i am going to shake or convulse. i am tired of panic attacks and just kind of get annoyed over it. i am tired of them now and I just want all of this to go away and let me be happy again!!!
UGH! I started thinking bout brain tumors, blood clots.
First of all, you're getting WAY ahead of yourself. You don't HAVE a diagnosis of WPWS, do you? It was just something mentioned, with the suggestion that you follow up with a cardiologist, correct?
Since then, you are racking your brain trying to make sense of it all, when you haven't even been further evaluated yet. While you are likely right that there isn't anything wrong, you still need to see the cardiologist and just rule anything out.
Also, I already told you that most likely your shaking or trembling did not affect the outcome of the test. The tech can see the monitor as the test is being performed as far as if it is readable, and they are very trained to be able to recognize if something is showing up as abnormal due to interference, either with movement, an improperly placed electrode, vs some sort of pathology. You can put that possbility to bed.
Now, does that mean that you have some horrid heart condition? Of course not! Could the EKG be "wrong"? Possibly. Could it have picked up a benign irregular event? Sure. The only way you are going to know the definitive answers to all of these questions is to GO TO THE CARDIO!!! He/she will be able to look at the strip and tell immediately if there is something that further needs investigarted...and will be able to tell you if you need a more thorough work-up, probably including a repeat EKG, which would likely be the 1st step.
FOR NOW...you're driving yourself mad...again, the infamous anxiety "soul searching"...trying to come up with an answer when sometimes we don't HAVE one. You are trying to convince yourself that the symptoms you were experiencing at the time the ekg was done altered the results. The anxiety certainly may have contributed to what showed up on the ekg. but again...you need to follow the recommendations and just let the cardio look you over and make a determination if this is nothing, or if it needs looked into further. My strong gut feeling is that it is absolutely nothing but a benign event, similar to palpitations, etc.
Until you get to the cardio, you really need to start putting forth an effort to stop ruminating so much about this...you are only adding serious fuel to your anxiety fire. It won't get you anywhere good....and your continued "research" (lol) is only going to confuse you more, and likely scare you to death.....
When is your cardio appt? I know you have a wait, but I cannot remember when you said it was. Get yourself to a therapist in the meantime....your anxiety is the biggest issue right now, and you need to start addressing in! Let us know what's what, okay? :0)
