Trouble breathing when I sleep..

Hi, wow, I thought I got rid of my anxiety. See, I've been anxiety free for the past half year, but just 2 days ago I started having trouble sleeping. Everytime when I'd drift off to sleep my breath would catch, like I'm holding my breath or something. So I got paranoid and had trouble sleeping the whole night. Tonight it's worse, every 2 seconds I'd have trouble breathing, and of course this triggers panic attacks. I've read about this and I know it's just my brain playing tricks on me, but I just can't seem to calm down. It's frustrating because I want to sleep and this is my second day staying up. Then there's the fact that I've been fine for half a year and I don't want the disorder to come back. I know I shouldn't be scared and this can be stopped if I just try, but currently it doesn't seem to be working, and I'm scared. What should I do?

Also get checked out for sleep apnea.

You might want to check into magnesium. I was doing that. Like I just forgot to breathe and the then all of a sudden I was gasping for air. Ended up, it was a magnesiium deficiency.

Magnesium deficiency can cause lots of symptoms, that are just plain un-fun.

Really work on allowing yourself the CREDIT on how you have worked on being panic/anxiety free! Now work on allowing this to be a MILD setback, the good thing is now you have the tools to let this pass and MOVE ON!! look acouple post done, TITLED >>>>" Words Of Wisdom" he wrote it up, it's based on CBT, read it also.
