Zoe,
Your statements above, ("She eats Tums like it was candy and is constantly drinking Pepto," is VERY alarming one, as is the regurg/vomiting. The latter can cause pneumonia.
This is so straightforward. As stated, it FTT; failure to shrive, which, if a person keeps doing, leads to death. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. This is SERIOUS stiff.
Please make and take her to the GI appointment. Please let me how it goes.
I have these same problems. It's part of anxiety sometimes. I have to take prilosec or protonix to lessen the stomach acid. She really should go to a doctor. She needs to make sure whats causing the GI discomfort and the fatigue. Good luck and happy Thanksgiving.
woe. chill zoe. just trying to explain/help.
lol. HT.
Well...i can't say i don't blame her! She's 73yrs old..plus she has to deal with me,who is also trying to deal with personal demons.lol
Schedule an appointment with a board-certified gastroenterologist and insist that she go if she gives you any heat. Sounds like she practicing what the medical community calls failure to thrive.
Best wishes.
