scared. chest pains and bloodwork
Hi everyone. Lately I been having some chest pains. It only on my left side right above my breast. I went to the er 2 nights ago. The did an ekg which was abnormal but for some reason my ekgs are always abnormal I don't know why. They did lab work, and heart enzyme tests and a chest xray. The xray and enzyme tests were normal. But in my lab work, my wbc was 11.0. I've been extremely anxious and under a ton of stress lately. I have to get heart tests done Nd also a cbc repeat. I am petrified.. any help would be so appreciated. I guess my question is is my wbc really bad and can stress cause that and chest pains..
I can appreciate your being nervous. However, try to look at it from another point of view. Either one of two GOOD things are going to happen. (1) the tests will show that you're OK, or (2) the tests will identify a problem, what that problem is, and what treatment is necessary to make you well. So either way, the outcome will be good. You're either fine, or you're going to be fine.
