Hi Nina.
Yes, you should tell your doctor about this or you could speak to a counsellor at your school. You could also tell an adult whom you trust and have him or her come with you to the doctor. You shouldn't be struggeling all alone with this problem.
Best wishes from
Nora
Hi,
try not to stress too much but It might be something as simple as Anxiety. Anxiety can play many many mide trix and it might just be something as simple as that here are a few eye symptoms of aniety:
*Eye tricks, seeing things our of the corner of your eye that isn’t there, stars, flashes
*Eye tricks, seeing things, stars: You may see stars or movements out of the corner of your eyes that don't exist. You may also see flashing lights in your eyes or your vision may seem almost kaleidoscope-like. Sometimes you may feel that there is a dark object or something just on the outside edge of your vision, or that your vision is narrowing.
*Eyes sensitive to light
Spots in the vision
Flashing lights when eyes are closed
Your depth perception feels wrong
But just to be on the safe side go see your GP :)
goodluck!
I agree with Mr. Green. I think it would be helpful if you could share a little more about yourself so we could help you. Sometimes severe medication reactions can cause this type of phenomena, as well as a whole host of other things, including medical problems, such as diabetes, etc.
Could you share a bit more about your history? And, how much this kind of thing happens to you, and if it has happened in the past, anything you can say was a factor EACH time it occurred?
We're here to help.
Have this ever been linked to bouts of anxiety? Anxiety before the event or anything like that at all? Just trying to see how it fits in with anxiety. Are you on medication? Tell us about your sleep. Do you sleep well? I ask about sleep because that is all I can think of for now. Bit like a dream when you are awake. Can happen to people who get no sleep. Because we have to dream. Have witnessed before at a charity event. A soccer game that was to go on for 4 days with no sleep for the players. The players on day 3 were having dreams, although awake. Fighting off people that weren't there. Was interesting to witness this. It was considered too dangerous to let them continue. Dreaming, yet fully awake. Not saying that is the answer to your problems. That might lie elsewhere. Doesn't have to be anxiety. Hence I ask about the anxiety. Just so we know a little bit more about you.
