I agree with Greenlydia that you should find a primary care physician so that they can get to know you and help you with your anxiety and also get to the bottom of you kidney infections. I used to get bladder infections and then kidney infections when I drank a lot of cokes. I drink lots of water and juice now and rarely have a coke. I was hospitalized twice as a child to see why I had kidney infections all the time. I think looking back that I didn't drink enough water and I didn't stop and go pee when I was busy playing. I would try to hold it as long as I could and that caused my infections. Just a thought...
As far as your feeling like you're going crazy. Forst of all, you're not. Secondly, I believe you are having panic attacks. I have had them since age 16 but back in '96 I was put on serzone and I don't have them anymore. I know quite a few people who have them. My boyfriend even has them when he is under a lot of stress with his job and he is a big old guy that is tough and strong. It can happen to anyone. I was once told by a doctor that people who have panic attacks are a lot of times more intellegent people who tend to question things and think deeper. So take that as a compliment. lol Back to being serious. Panic attacks can make you feel crazy and make you think you are going to lose your mind. But let me tell you from experience that you will not lose your mind and if you can learn some relaxation techniques to use when they happen it will greatly benefit you. I am here if you want to talk. I have lived it and learned from it. I have a good friend that has them very bad and doesn't even leave her home anymore. Please don't let them control your life. Again, I am here if you want to talk.

Sounds to me like you need to find a personal physcian rather than your local hospital. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with your local hospital, but when you have a PCP (Primary Care Physcian) they get to "know" the real you. When you "present" at the hospital with a set of symptoms, that is all they see......the symptoms. They don't always see the person. So, they treat the symptoms and send you on your way.
That you have been suffering with these symptoms every day for nearly two years is unacceptable! I don't blame you for feeling like you're going crazy!
But you're not, OK? You need to find a good doctor who will figure out what is going on with your chronic kidney problems and help you deal with your anxiety issues.
In this day and age, we must all become pro-active in our own health care. So find a doctor and get to the bottom of these issues. You've wasted enough of your life feeling anxious!
Please keep us posted, OK?
Peace
