GERD infection and lightheadedness

Hi,

I have been suffering from lightheadedness (sometimes its like going to pass) and nausea for past 2 months. Its random can start any moment but feel relax when lying on bed. Sometimes only nausea and sometimes only lightheadedness or both. Consulted 7 doctors .... GP, ENT, Opthomologist, Neuro, Cardiac, Gastero. Done with the brain MRI and EEG (both normal), Done with all cardiac test including stress test (all normal), Vitamin D was low 14.. consulted Encronologist.. and taking medicine.

At last Gastero doctor asked for endoscopy. In this found severe esophogus infection and polyps development (which sent for biopsy test) and given me 3 months medicine. But he told that it is the cause of your nausea for sure. but dont know about the lightheadedness.

Wanted to know that it can also be cause of my lighthheadedness or not.
Please help.

Thank You
Manoj Sharma

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
A detailed evaluation may be necessary for appropriate diagnosis and management of your condition. Lightheadedness can be due to anxiety, stress, heart diseases, ear problems etc.Blood sugar abnormalities, thyroid hormone imbalances and blood pressure fluctuations can also cause symptoms being experienced by you.It may not be possible to advise the management without  a clinical examination. I suggest that you should consult a primary care physician and get examined for above mentioned possibilities. Based on the clinical examination findings you may be further referred to the concerned specialist. I sincerely hope it helps.
Good luck and take care!
