Does this sound familiar?

I'm a 26 y/O male. For about 2 months I have experienced an array of symptoms that seem like some sort of infection but have had no results from doctors so far.

I am experiencing headaches, sore throat, fatigue, random pain throughout body that happens randomly and sometimes lingers and sometimes goes quickly. The pain usually centers around spots that have lymph nodes but sometimes feels like nerve pain. Pain usually in hands, feet, shins, joints, fore arms, arm pits and abdomen.

At  around week six of these symptoms I've started to develop pimple like growths and what look like infected hair follicles. Most all the pimple like ones can be popped and it looks like puss that comes out but sometimes it's more of a hard ball of puss. They appear mainly on my back chest and shoulders but have been on leg and arm as well. The hair follicle spots seem to appear anywhere from legs, wrist, scalp ect. Neither really seem to form a rash as they appear in random location usually by themselves. Sometimes a couple may be close to each other.

This all started after an oral sex encounter but all stds and HIV have been ruled out by several tests. Doc also did 3 blood tests including CBC and kidney and liver function, not sure what tests exactly but everything was normal.

My original doc thought maybe a UTI or kidney stones. So I was put on 10 days of CIPRO.

Does this sound like something you've heard before? Does a skin bout like this sound familiar, like some sort of folliculitis or candida or something? Symptoms of pain are usually worse at night and sometimes when I wake up in the morning my arms feel weak and shaky.  Most recent symptom is warm sensations that come and go quickly. They happen randomly and in random parts of the body.

Thank you

Everything you described is exactly what I have been suffering from since April. Beg your doctor to check you for a parasitic infection. Just trust me. If you are  infected, those bastards can mimic all sorts of other health problems and you will be misdiagnosed to the point of no return. Do you have photos of the pimples. If it is a parasite, it is going to get much worse before it gets better. Also, if you are immunocompromised, then you need to step it up a bit. Good luck.

The chills may be because you have a fever and an infection. The tingling may be some type of neuropathy (nerve problem) or sometimes some medications can do this. Some viruses can cause damage to nerves. It is a thought. I am not saying you have a virus but just bringing up different possibilities.
I get tingling in my hands and feet due to my medication.

I wouldn't worry about the taste buds being swollen. That can happen with citrus foods and acidic foods. The eyes itching sounds like an allergy. You can try the cranberry juice since you are not diabetic. Drink a lot of it for a few days and water too. If you have a urinary tract infection you should feel better in a couple of days. When you get insurance you should see a doctor about the weight loss. It could be your thyroid so you could your TSH checked to see if it is off. But you should see if there is anything going on. Tell them about your frequent infections as well as that may mean your immunity is low.
BV is pretty common though you can get BV also from having multiple sex partners (just the difference in lots of different bacterial population amoung different people) also, using an IUD. It can happen after sex with a new partner even though it is not an STD. Again you can try the topical antibiotic for the spots that look like folliculitis. But don't cover the whole body or a large area. Just a few spots and see if it works for a about a few days to a week. If it does work you can try a few more. How many do you think you have or how much of your body? If it works you can report this to your doctor and they can treat it. Don't put any antibiotic ointment on the genital area. If you have any other questions feel free.

Regarding BV do you douche? Douching causes a lot of BV because it disrupts the normal bacteria. So if you do that stop. The vagina is self cleaning. You only want to wash the outside. This is because the Ph will change and that causes bad bacteria to take over. Don't use anything inside including yogurt or vinegar douches. Nothing. For UTI's well some of that is just the way we are made. But after using the toilet always wipe from front to back. Drink cranberry juice and lots of water if you are not diabetic. It can help flush out an infection. Do you have crusty spots that follow the follicules? This could be folliculitis. You can try a topical triple antibiotic ointment on a few spots to see if it works. Always wash your hands well after touching areas like that. It is easy to spread to other areas. Wash all wash rags, towels and anything that comes in contact with it often. Of course when you get insurance see the doctor.  IT is less risky to have oral sex if its is from a woman to a woman. So I hope you didn't get anything. It depends on what she did before you though. If she was with a man before you then it is possible. Only if you know her then you can decide on that.

We are not doctors on these sites but I am a microbiologist and can try to advise you. I'm sorry you are having these problems.
Where are your bacterial infections? Have you been tested for STD's that you could get in the oral area? Such as Gonorrhea (GC), Chlamydia, Syphillis, Herpes, and also HIV?  GC can cause arthritis if never treated and it spreads to other parts of the body.  White tongue could be yeast but it isn't usually. You can test this by using a tongue scraper and seeing if the bacteria or yeast comes off easily or won't come off without bleeding. Be gentle. If it is bacteria it will come off easily if yeast it will bleed. Then you can get a test from the doctor and treatment.  The twitching muscles may be due to low potassium. Are you drinking enough fluids? Have you had your kidney function tests done recently? Twitching muscles can also be due to being out of shape and then starting new exercises. The urgency to urinate could be a urinary tract infection and/or if you are a man (your home page says you are a female) so I don't know for sure, prostatitis.  Any time you lose a lot of weight for no reason you should see doctor. It could be a sign of serious illness. So I would err on the side of caution and get checked out. These symptoms may not be due to an STD. I am just asking if you had them done or if you used protection.

I think I got it from this site at the bottom:

https://sites.google.com/site/newhivaidslikeviruschina/medical-research

Ministers, I hope you can send someone to contact me. Whether or not correct I am correct, I assume full legal responsibility. I also have the capability to help perform an epidemiological investigation, and further assist the laboratory identification work.

Thank you for your valuable time in reading this report.

But I don't think it will take you anywhere. It is the Chinese study. So never mind.

I can't find it . I should have made a note of it I guess. I would have to read through everything again. Maybe it was the Chinese CDC. I will try to look later and see if I can find where I read it. Sorry.
