I also forgot to include that my doctor has me on thyroid medication for hyperthoridism. I have to take 14 medications a day. I can not going on living like this . I am tired of living like a hermit and living in the dark.
Hi,
How are you? I understand your concern about these headaches. Can you elaborate on the CT scan and spinal tap result? Migraine headaches are usually associated with one-sided throbbing pain, often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, cold hands, sensitivity to sound and light, visual disturbances and even numbness. If your present medications do not help, you can opt to try complementary and alternative medicine such as biofeedback, acupuncture and other relaxation techniques. How long have you been taking your thyroid medications? If the hormonal levels are controlled, these medications may be stopped. Talk to your doctor about his or her working diagnosis and review your medications. If you are not comfortable taking these too many medicines, inform him or her and discuss their management plan. Hang on and do keep us posted.
