migrains after c section

my daughter had a c section in july she had two seizures during the c section, followed by two more four days later. she has had an untreatable migraine since she woke after the first set of seizures. she was hospitaized for fourteen days. they did a mri , a ct scan and an angiogram said she has blood on her brain. diag with pre eclampsia , eclampsia and post eclampsia. possable spinal headache wich they tried a blood patch wich did not work, we have followed up with ob doctor and family phys. with no help. we wont have a follow up mri or be seen in a nero clinic untill mid sept. i tryed to get her seen sooner with answers always no. we have made several trips to er for migrain cocktails. but the next day migraine is still there. please help what could this be and how do we treat or get more help.

It's past mid-September when you were supposed to get more medical help.  I am wondering if you've been helped at all.  There are many more treatments for migraines than discussed previously.  So please let us know.

I am going through the same thing and dont know what to do. I have a 5 month old to care for and its so hard sometimes. What have you figured out so far? How is she doing?

How is your daughter? Migraines can be triggered with hormone changes such as pregnancy and giving birth. However, for proper diagnosis, imaging studies (such as MRI) would help rule out organic issues in the brain that are more serious than primary headaches. If medications are not helping, complementary and alternative medicine such as acupuncture, biofeedback therapy and other relaxation techniques may help.
