Hello,
These symptoms can be due to prostatitis. The typical symptoms of prostatitis are fever, pelvic, testicle, or rectal pain, frequent and painful urination and ejaculation and incomplete emptying of bladder.
You will need ultrasound, X-ray, and computerized tomography (CT) along with prostatic fluid examination along with prostate specific antigen to confirm the diagnosis.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Thanks for advice,
I have had several hiv test all coming negative.
I had VDRL,HCV,HPV test with normal report.
I had urine culture with normal report.
Soon i will get tested for other STD'S.
I had sex only 1 time with protection ,don't know if protection failed.
Don't know how to proceed.Whether to consult a UROLOGIST or GP?
Hi,
I know that it is improper to aks someone their age but depending on what age you are it can be something that comes with age.
In my own case I was still quite young when I first started with these problems. At the age of about 30 I was diagnosed with a neurogenic bladder.
I had numerous cystoscopies that did not indicate a problem. Even when they did a TURP and resection of the bladderneck for a partial obstruction they did not understand why I ended up with the same problems again. It was not untill a second urodynamics tests that they diagnosed me with the neurogenic bladder. Things would have been different if they had done the urodynamics first.
At the time, I drank coffee and tea but had no other negative habits like smoking etc. To try what the urologist suggested, I was only drinking water, apple juice and cranberry juice, still my problems only got worse.
Try to provide as much and as detailed information as possible. if it was something sexually transmitted you would have had symptoms much sooner.
Are there different habbits? Are you drinking more (diabetes). Are there other symptoms? (MS can cause this too) What all sorts of test have you had so far? Do you suffer stress of any kind? Is the problem physical or psychological? I myself have had to go through all these things too. I do not believe psychological causes. Most people will not create these sort of problems themselves. That said, stress can play a big part of it. Stress can become part of the condition.
I wish I could be of more help, but this can be very difficult to diagnose.
One of the problems with burning in the penis as well can be prostatitis. I have had it since my early 20's. There is no treatment and it is not understood by doctors why some males go through it.
All the best,
Ron
