ibogaine

Has anybody tried this for opiate addiction?

I have read stories all over the internet about how this hallucinogenic drug can move people months ahead in their opiate addictions.

I wonder if this compound is worth looking into.  Isolation of 12-methoxyibogamine
from the various containing plants isn't too hard, and I wonder if the pharmacokinetics actually have an effect on opiate addiction.

I need to get licensed to work with scheduled substances already!  an indolic alkaloid with 4 isomers would provide a fair starting ground for pharmaceutical research...

I dont think this treatment is legal everywhere.. there are many sites about it.. sounds freaking scary to me
