My 26 month old daughter has had BRIGHT green stools for about 2 months now

My 26 month old daughter has BRIGHT green stools for the past 2 months or better.  When I first noticed that it was consistent (about 2 weeks into it) I brought it to the attention of her pediatrician. She sad to change her diet because she was eating alot of fatty foods like pancakes everyday (because it is all I could get her to eat), and cookies etc....Well we changed her diet completely, now she eats whole grain cereals, fresh fruits, raisins, 2-3 cups of milk instead of 5-6 per day etc... and her stools are still a bright green. What else can I do to help her?

She has a bowel movement everyday, occasionaly she'll skip a day.  She does not appear to be in any pain during her movements. And usually her stools are a mixture of brown hard balls with soft green over top of it.

It appears her stools are returning to normal from what you are describing. I do suggest you do not totally put her on a low fat diet because children below the age of 3 years old need fat in their diet for brain development. If her stool does not return to normal in a week or 2, then return to her MD to be tested to make sure there is nothing medically wrong. Hope that helped you.
