Bladder pain after urinating

I had a complete hysterectomy 11 weeks ago and about 6 weeks ago I started having bladder pain after urinating. None during, only after. Does not affect my urethra. No urgency, no infection and no blood in my urine. CT also showed nothing. Dr. catheterized me the other day because after emptying my bladder she felt there was still more urine in the bladder. The pain was tremendous!! I didn't even have that much pain after the surgery! There was about 100 cc’s of urine that after tested showed no infection or blood. I have also suffered from chronic phantom cystitis type urgency for years. I say 'phantom' because my urine always shows no infection. Just recently I figured out it was carbonated drinks that usually caused the urgency. Stopped those and was feeling better until the pain started around the first of the year. Once in a while the pain will come on for no reason and have me doubled over. Other than those types (about once a week) the pain after urinating will ease after an hour or so. What in the world could this be?

Hi
Im not sure if this is connected to the surgery or not, but I think you need a cystoscopy...this is test where they use a scope, ( bladder is distended with water, either reverse foley or you drink alot of water) the scope goes into urethrea,,,dr then can visually see on computer imagery what the scope (camera) shows.

best to go to a urologist.
