Ultrasound - just thickening- biopsy-polyp

I am postmenopause for 7 years.   I noticed a very slight tinge of blood on toilet tissue.  Went to Doc and had Pelvic and Vaginal Ultra sound.  I got a copy of my results and all it showed was Endometrial Stripe 10 mm and Cystic changes in fundus.

Had a biopsy and now I am being told that I have a polyp.  Wouldn't that be on the Ultra Sound report?  How can a biopsy indicate that???  Confused....

Called doctor office back and they stated that it just happens that the tissue from the biopsy showed as a polyp.
