Accuracy of Igenex test?

by kday, Aug 19, 2009 09:41PM
Anybody know the accuracy of the Igenex test? I felt pretty good yesterday morning (nearly asymptomatic) when I had the blood draw, so I am wondering if you need to feel the symptoms for the test to be accurate.

I didn't have any symptoms, if I am remembering correctly, when I had my Igenex labs drawn.  I think this because I wondered the same thing - will it show?  Mine did - CDC positive for IgM.  I think it will show up, at least something because IgM is basically current infection and IgG is past infection/exposure.  They test several bands of IgM and IgG.  That is my understanding, anyway.
