I had a CT scan on Oct 30th, 2010 that showed a 2.36cm ovarian cyst on my right ovary. I also had urinalysis done 2 times and both times it showed blood in my urine. On November 10th I had a transvaginal ultrasound, the results showed a 6cm complex, hemorrhagic cyst. The pain and nausea is getting consistently worse and I often get shaky and feel like I am going to faint.. I had to start taking painkillers this weekend for the pain, nothing else worked for the pain.
I am waiting to see a Gyn this Friday Nov. 19th, 2010,
I have 2 questions:
1. Can this type of cyst cause blood to show up in my urine?
2. I know that a CT scan and an ultrasound will give different measurements but it seems like a big difference 2.36cm (CT scan) as opposed to 6cm (ultrasound). Can a cyst grow this fast?
Thanks in advance for your help.
