I have a 4cm chocolate cyst on my left ovary. I'm really afraid of it rupturing from what I have read, they cause excruciating pain and you have to go to the ER.
I'm afraid of mine rupturing. I also had a pelvic ultrasound at one point and they said it was leaking fluid into my abdomen (it was not ruptured). I also have really heavy and painful periods. Is it likely to rupture at 4cm? Is there anything that causes them to rupture? Is there anything I can do to stop it? Is there anything you can do to know if it's about to rupture? Thanks for reading and I appreciate any responses or help.
I had a ovarian cyst burst in me and at first i thought i had a kidney infection cuz of my lower back burning n what not wasnt till i got pains so bad i couldnt stand that i realized it was emergency room time. When i went to the doctor they found fluid built up in my uterus i got meds for pain but they said my body would either absorb the fluid or get rid of it naturally. I dunno if yours is different but i hope this helped n i wish the best for u.
