belly button discharge after surgery
I had surgery a year ago for a dermoid cyst in my left ovary. This is my third time having surgery for this type of problem, however this last time the surgery was done laproscopically. While I was recoving I got an infection and my belly button started to leak this really smelly discharge. I was treated for the infection and recovered for my surgery with in a month. BUT a year later and my belly button still discharges 1 every two weeks or so. I went to my doctor and he said everything why fine, but I've never had any problems with my belly button before. Is this normal? How long will this last? jo9510

Very strange.  I've not heard of this before.  I would insist on having a test of the discharge and if he refuses then try another doctor.
