surgical staples

I had a accident at work in 2007 that slices my wrist wide open severing arteries nerves tendons and more,  they used staples and stitches, and i didn't find out that there were staples in my wrist until five months ago after going to the hospital for pain in he hand and wrist,  on the Xray it shows that there were staples in my hand and wrist some of the staples have become loose and free floating and are right near the ulnar nerve and blood vessel.  and i have read that surgical staples should not be left in near nerves or tendons,  and work mans comp isn't doing any thing about it.  In the past two years they have sent me to doctors and they had taken Xray and mentioned nothing to me about staples,  what should i do
