Highly Fluctuating Vitamin D Levels - reason????
Hello
About 3.5 weeks my Vitamin D levels were 17....now they are at 89.2.  And i did NOT even take the 50,000IU that the doc wanted me to take every week.

My other symptons are shortness of breath, chest pain, blurry vision (sometimes), rapid heart beat, overally fatigue, pain and aches in muscles and joints.

Please advice.

Hi,
How are you? Fluctuating vitamin D levels may indicate problems with your hormone levels. Low vitamin D levels occur because of less intake of vitamin D, less exposure to sunlight, effect of toxic substances or chemicals,  or as side effects of some diseases such as cystic fibrosis, liver or kidney disorders, and Chron's diseases or colitis. Vitamin D toxicity presents with gastrointestinal symptoms like anorexia, nausea, vomiting, weakness, nervousness, pruritus, and eventually renal failure. Have this evaluated further by your doctor for proper management. Direct clinical examination and additional tests may help determine the underlying cause. Do keep us posted. Take care and best regards.
