Could my hyperT be drug induced?

5 months ago my Dr. gave me a Rx for meloxicam (NSAID, selective Cox2 inhibitor) for adhesive capsulitis.  I stopped after 10 days because I felt AWFUL!  Like I was going to jump out of my skin, BP 185/107, pulse 102, pounding heartbeat in my ears.  48 hrs. after stopping meloxicam, my BP & pulse returned to normal, but I still have pounding in my ears.
Repeated blood tests show I am hyperT.  TSH <.005 out of range T3 &T4.
I just saw an ENT and am waiting on TPO, ultrasound, and more blood work results.
I spoke with 2 friends recently about this.  They both said,"Oh, I have that too"  Both have osteo issues and are taking NSAIDS, but I don't know which ones.
I googled meloxicam side effects.  All of my symptoms are listed as side effects, but it does not tell why or what to do about it.
Is this possible?  I'm healthy, haven't used my insurance in 18 years, F, 51, post-menopause, no meds except tylenol occassionally.  I've been overweight my entire life.  I've not lost a single pound with this hyperT.  I'm really having a hard time wrapping my brain around this one.

Interesting. I have been taking mobic (meloxicam) for three years and I developed hyperthyroid with nodules. Same symptoms may just be a coincidence though. I am 47 and have not lost a pound either darnit.

I had RAI in may hope to get it under control
