Make sure you take your meds separately from food (about 30 minutes) and particularly from vitamins and minerals (a few hours).
Hi. I am from India. I can suggest you start putting coconut oil twice a day on your entire body.In India we also do "sarvangaashana" one type of aashana which is really yielding a good result. If interested , i can forward the way how to do sarvangaashana.
You want to avoid soy products and raw goitrogens. Goitrogens are a class of vegetables such as brocolli and cauliflower.
You can do a search on goitrogens and learn more about them.
I don't really know of any specific foods that enhance absorption - but Selenium has some research out on it that it helps convert the Hormone T4 into T3 for the human body.
As in along with meds, what foods would benifit absorption of the meds etc. I dont really have a weights issue but I have put on weight reguardless of the fact Im doing a really active college course!
Take a peek at the Zone diet and South Beach plan - this may help you with weight issues if that is what you are asking about.
