She wants me to take thyroplex ........ and she's weaning me off of T3. I'm just so frustrated because nothing seems to be working for me. Any advice? Any words of wisdom?
I've been on cytomel for about 9 months (since Jan 2009) and my FT3 levels just recently got to mid range. I have to stay on a very low dose due to rapid heart rate and palps. I've also been on levothyroxine for about a year and 1/2 and my FT4 is also just barely mid range.
The only words of wisdom I can offer is "have patience". It sometimes takes a while to get levels balanced out and the first round of med doesn't always work, so you have to try something else.
