Pain after Neobladder surgery

Is is common to have lower back pain 2-3 monhs after neobladder surgery?  Sometimes it is lower back and sometimes it circles around to the abdomen.

Novafan,

It does take a while to adjust to your new system.  Of course, you must have close follow up with your surgeon after a big operation like this one.  You should continue to irrigate your neobladder regularly, so that mucous does not accumulate and cause an infection or obstruction.  If the pain is persistent still or getting worse consult your surgeon as you have had a complex surgery that requires personal attention.
