Pea sized lump on top of left testicle (follow up)

Hi, and thank you for your answer to my recently posted question (http://www.medhelp.org/forums/urologic-cancers/messages/51.html)

The lump that I have on top of the testicle has not changed any in size at all, but I am still a bit concerned.

The left testicle seems to be little bit bigger and maybe a little bit harder than the right one. It is not a very big difference, though, so I might be imagining the whole thing (and I also know that one testicle often is larger than the other by nature).

However, I also know that a harder or enlarged testicle is a sign of TC. But what is the reason for the hardening of the testicle with TC? Is it due to the tumor inside of it?
Because in my case, as said in my previous post, the lump is outside of the testicle, and then it should not cause the testicle itself to be harder?

I just wanted to hear with you before I might get a doctor's appointment.

The hardness in testes is usually beacuse of the cancer. As you have rightly pointed out, one testicle can be larger than the other.
