i HAVE A VERY SWOLLEN TESTICLE( THE OTHER WAS REMOVED YEARS AGO) WHICH IS ALSO VERY PAINFUL AND ASSOCIATED LOWER BACK PAIN. THE DR HAS SEEN ME AND IS SENDING ME TO HOSPITAL ASAP. HE THINKS ITS TESTIS MASS.i AM 77YRS OLD AND HAVE HAD PREVIOUS PROSTATE TREATMENT. HAVE YOU ANY OBSERVATIONS

There are several causes of enlarged and painful testicle including infection, inflammation, and tumor.  Since you have a history of testicular mass in the past, you should be checked out for all the above.  Good luck.
