HOW FAR DID YOU GO TO GET PILLS

I was so desperate to get pills one day I took a landscaping brick and drop it on my big toe and broke it. It was very painful and regret it now cause my toe nail is still trying to completely heal. They had to burn through it to relieve the pressure from the blood. Now that's an addict.

hey, great post, great question. one many of us have a hard time facing. i think once we do we are certainly on the road to recovery. i have done some pretty stupid things to get my pills in the past. i have also lied to dentists and docs to get perscriptions. i have gone with out food before and never stolen anything, but i stole pills from people that trust me. that is the hardest for me.......... what it does (did) to my character, i want to be trusted, and a person of integrity. drugs robbs you of that. it is so cunning.

I would never dream of doing that now I am 129 days clean and still have a hard time believing I did that. Lost marbles that is too funny I wonder if you could inject that down below and be swollen for 4 months LOL

I have to tell you that your not alone.  I really admire your honesty.  I don't believe a lot of people would admit to self-harming themselves to get pills.  I personally haven't done it, because I already had and have a reason to walk into any doc's office and they would give me pills, but I can't say I wouldn't do something like that if I didn't have a problem. Please try not to do that again.  I know your stronger than that.  Your teetering on dangerous behavior.
