Heart attack feelings

I know ive had a lot of ECG tests two blood tests  I'm fine. I'm on 160mg beta blockers and 10mg anti depressants. I can't help but think I can breathe I keep has really bad chest pain a crushing feeling. I'm 20 quite healthy, I get really intense buzzing feeling in my arms when i move my head. Is everyone elses anxiety symtoms so similar to a heart attacks? :(  Would I know the difference of a heart attack and a panic?

Wow i have gone throught this very same thing for 5 years now and the only thing that has helped me is to stay busy all the time!! i know that is not a good solution but i have noticed that when i start feeling that i have to get my mind on something else and before you know it that feeling will disappear, but when i try to sleep i have to just take a xanax because anytime i try to relax my mind just goes straight to thinking about that. i suffer from generalized anxiety disorder and i have no triggers it just abruptly pops up i can be relaxed have the best time ever all of a sudden BAM anxiety hits and good time ruined!! i am so sick of it i am trying to combat this and i think with a good support group such as this we can help each other combat this horrible disorder!! Good Luck and you can talk to me anytime i know how you feel. Mine has went from my chest to my head now!! Now i get these weird crazy sensations in my head and vertigo!! My symptoms change alot so i never know what to expect!! Good luck and again i am here for you!!

Don't ever apologize for posting here and getting it all out of your system, girl. That's what the forums are here for in the first place. I know for a lot of people here (myself included) it actually helps to get all the issues out on the table. For some reason, it allows for myself and others to realize that no matter how crazy we feel on the inside, others are going through the very same thing.

Are you feeling any better? To be honest one of the best things that has helped me is a good cardio workout. I was scared at first to get my heart rate up but once I did and felt great afterwards it became a really positive thing.

Are the beta blockers for the anxiety??  160 is a pretty high dose, I take 10mg of Propanolol or Inderal. They can cause you to feel crappy at times. I know how hard it is, no matter how many tests I have telling me I am ok, I have major issues believing it. I wont dismiss your age but it is on your side. Whenever you start to feel the pain or any strange feelings, find someone to talk too. Do whatever you can to take your mind off it. I hope that you can talk to your doctor and they can help you work through it because I know what its like to be young and so terrified about something. It has controlled my life way too long.

thankyou. I'm sorry youve been through this aswell. That's the thing I've been to my doc so many times :( I've had numerous tests, ecgs, bloods and 24hr heart moniter and they are all fine. But I still feel like I'm going to die, or they've missed a heart condition! Everytime I try and convince myself it's anxiety I get new pains! Arrgg I'm going out of mind! I'm so sorry I just need to get it all out :(

I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through. I myself have had chest pain and pain in my left arm. I kept thinking that it was heart related issues and I felt really scared. Recently last month and for a few months actually. I went to my doctor and he told him how I felt, and he said that it was anxiety and I had chest wall pain most likely from lifting. I'm glad that I got checked out because now I worry less. It's good to know what's going on with your body. I really think that you should go to your doctor so that you can find out what's wrong. I wish you luck.
