Endo recurrance

Hi There-
I am new to this forum but sadly not to endometriosis.  I have had two reconstructive surgeries- the last in 2010.  I lived pretty much pain free after that until 6 months ago.  My doc had told me to try to get pregnant as soon as possible after last surgery but then I got divorced.  I am now finally in an amazing relationship and want a baby badly with him but am so scared it is not going to be possible.  Now the pain and suffering is almost debilitating.  It is mostly left side and cervical.  It is made worst by any activity, especially walking (tough because I teach dance and theatre for a living)  I am bleeding every 20 days for 7-9 days.  I vomit for 2 days before my period starts.  I do not sleep, or eat, and I barely function.  I am 35 and really want to have a baby now.  I am going to see my specialist on Monday and am just terrified she is going to tell me another surgery is needed because I cannot handle the hormones to stop the bleeding.I am not really asking a question here, more just reaching out for support.

Yes. Sometimes it takes up to a month to see a difference, however if it doesn't change things after that time and it still like this I would go back and tell them its not working.

Hi!  So I started on Norlutate to stop my bleeding about 10 days ago.  My doc had warned me I would have some rebound bleeding and so I was expecting this.  However, the last 3 days I have gone from spotting to light bleeding to heavy flow with terrible lower back pain and cramps so bad they have made me vomit.  Do you have any experience with this?

Did you have surgery with and Endo specialist? This makes a huge difference as most obgyns don't know the different shapes and colors of Endo and could be missed. Cervical Endo is a rarer form of Endo (the incidence of cervical endometriosis was reported to be between 0.11% and 2.4%.) and if they just burned it out and not excised (cut out) then they didn't get it at the root just the surface so it can grow back.

As for staging it all depends on where else the Endo was and how many points their were during surgery. It is very possible to have stage I and end up later with Stage IV. You need to see an Endo specialist. If you let me know where you live I can let you know where the best Endo specialist in your area.

I just had a lap for possible endo. I started getting my period twice a month and pain on my left side during exam and intercourse. Before I even had the exam the doctor brought me into his office to discuss surgery. I was wikling to do it so I could get my life back.. the doctor found endo on my cervix he burned it off and didnt need to use the robot.. I guess that means im stage one. What should I expect for the future?  Post op... pain is bearable and swelling is down. I have no appetite . Sore throat and ear ache. Also started bleeding on 2nd day which is getting heavier. Am constipated..tried a laxative and developed painful hemroid and made my cramping worse. Is endo guarenteed to get worse or can it be controled at this stage?

A coping workshop sounds good :)

Yes I have nearly no pain when I am on the pill, no period, no ovulation etc. In fact I have not really had any endo pain in 8 yrs however because of the damage done taking so long to diagnose my bowels and bladder are a mess. That is where most of the pain is.

On my left side of pelvic floor which is where I have been experiencing the most pain.  She said the inflammation in my cervix is probably caused by that as well.  My endometrium is very thick.  It was hard for her to see because I was on my first day of period and I was bleeding heavily.  They want me to take part in coping strategy workshops so I am going to do that.  But hopefully stopping the bleeding will give me some reprieve.  Do you find you have less pain when you are not bleeding?
