Biopsy report for my Dad who is 67 years old

The Biopsy report is given below.

TRANSRECTAL-PROSTATE

Report:

Prostate measures 3.2  X  4.8 X 3.1 cms. It shows diffuse heterogeneous echogenicity with evidence of ill defined multiple hypoechoic areas and small nodular changes. The outlines are well defined. The vascularity is increased.


Seminal vesicles are enlarged and cystic.

IMPRESSION:
--------------------
-Diffuse heterogenous nodular changes with increased vascularity of the prostate.

Please advice.

Hi,
You father has had a prostate biopsy, which has not revealed any cancer. It has, however, revealed some nodular changes in an enlarged prostate. Please consult a urologist.
