restrictive cardiomyopathy

I was diagnosed with RCM last March following a heart biopsy.  I recently had a right catherization, due to increased shortness of breath. They said my pressures in my heart were lower, actually in the normal range. Does that mean that I don't have RCM or just that my treatment is effective?

This is a very complicated disease. I think you should discuss this with your cardiologist. You can read about restrictive cardiomyopathy at www.merck.com
