joint pain

I have a few lumps on my thyroid and i'm going for a biospy this week,  Why do my joints hurt so badly it has effected my life style!  Should I be tested for something else,  the pain is almost unmanageable.  Do thyriod tumors effect your joints and muscles?

I haven't seen anything about a direct link between arthritis and thyroid conditions but I have both and it's miserable.  There is an autoimmune arthritis (RA) and many autoimmune thyroid conditions.  Are your thyroid labs normal?  Ask your doctor to run a RA (rheumatoid arthritis) test and test you for thyroid antibodies.
