Goiter cell and Thyroid cancer cell

Could someone explain what is the difference between goiter cell and thyroid cancer? Thanks

Goiter is an enlargement of thyroid - usually benign.  Thyroid cancer is very different.  Thyroid cancer cells are usually found in nodules.  Here's some good reference material on all types of thyroid problems:  http://www.endocrineweb.com/
