Have goiter problems

Found out I have a goiter I also have high blood sugar which I have been able to keep under control can go for a awhile with BS numbers normal I have also lost about 21 lbs in about 5 months I have been working on losing the weight It is kind of funny though that after 5 years of thyroid trouble and weight gain it seems to be coming off easier My hair is thinning and my nails are dry What I want to know is my goiter affecting BS levels? What is the success of taking care of the goiter and feeling better? Also I am on synthroid my mom is on armor She believes that armor is better I would like to know if others feel the way she does
