What is the next step?

Hi, I am a 22 year old male college student and I was diagnosed with Grave's disease back in Oct. 2005.  Ever since then I have been on medications for it and have done regularly-scheduled blood work to monitor my thyroid levels, which is now within the normal range.  Anyway, the doctor I have been going to doesn't seem to care much as the last lab he ordered, and I had done, I still have yet to hear from him and its been 2 months now.  Why I'm not concerned about it is because I recently moved far away so I'm in the process of looking for a new doctor anyways.  I have several questions. First, its been 3 and a half years since I was diagnosed, thyroid levels back within normal range, what's next?  Second, I do have exophthalmos and I am currently in the process of quitting smoking.  It's only been 3 days without a cigarette but it feels that my eyes are getting worse, it feels more puffy and I "think" it's bulging out more.  Any other ex-smokers with Grave's Disease that had the same problem?  Third, does anyone have information of TED treatment and costs of surgery (like orbital decompression)?  Lastly, I've noticed that in these past 3 and a half years I have had Grave's disease, I've become EXTREMELY sensitive emotionally.  Anyone else had this problem and how did you cope with it?
