colloid nodule
I have a 3.2cm thyroid nodule on th eright and 2 small <1cm nodules on the left. needle biopsy indicated benign.
do I need to remove the 3.2cm colloid nodule?

That is up to your doctor. He should decide based on the size of the nodule(s), your tests, any issues you have swallowing, family history and the rest of your history.

I had my colloid nodules removed eventually, but not right away - it was a joint decision as I could not regulation my thyroid medication. I felt better afterward. You have to decide what you want with your doctor.
