shortage of armour thyroid

because of the shortage (was taking 65mg of armour thytoid) my doctor has put me on 50mcg levothyroxine, is that the correct dosage? I can tell the difference in the way I fell,could sleep 12to16 hours a day. I have been taking armour for over 45 years.

that sounds about right on the dosage but hopefully we will be able to get armour again soon. I switched to armour two months ago and just felt like I had my dose right and then went to refill it and they said no one had it anywhere. I went on line and ordered it from Canada but it will take three weeks to get so I am back on synthroid which does not work for me. I feel awful and it's only been four days!
