side effects of meds?

by Mojoe89, Aug 16, 2009 06:26PM
I don't know what particular doctor I need to see and qould like some guidance.

I have been experiencing pain in my right lower leg . The pain feels like intense flu pains and can last for over an hour or  a few minutes.(I don't have the flu or cold) In addition to that my big toe on my right toe feels as though someone tied a string around it and it pulling the string tighter and tighter.
I feel like my toe will fall off. I know it's wierd .
Who do I see? Orthopedic? Neurologist?
taking 5 mg of methimazole 2x's a day for low TSH levels .01 buy t4 and t3 are in normal range
IGF-1 is high but endo not concerned about that

I would go to primary and start there. Have you also mentioned this to your thyroid dr?
