i was wondering if a nodule 9mm is considered a large or small nodule? when i went to get a sonogram thats what the dr. said was the size of mine. the dr increased my levothroxine to 200mcg and said hopefully that will shrink the nodule. i should have gotten an fna but didnt go through with it because i was so nervous. in a few months i will get another sonogram on it and see if there is any change. if it doesnt shrink does it mean it can be cancerous? ive been hypothyoid since 1999 but never really read up on it until i got the nodule.
