Which is the best mineral make up?? I have tried the bare escentuals and jane iredale and was wondering if there are any others people have tried. Thanks.
I use the Bare Esentuals and love it. I've tried the Loreal...it's ok in a pinch. Arbonne (online only) has a great line as well. It does make my skin look flawless and I don't have breakouts either.
I know there are some new brands out there, but I also haven't tried them yet. I have tried and really liked the bare escentuals. Fortunately some of the newer brands are less expensive.
I lOVE Arbonne. I started using it about 3 years ago and every time I try something else i always end up going back to them. I get compliments quite often on my skin and have started noticing others to see what they use. A majority of the time the peoples' skin who I notice tell me they use Arbonne. I also love that they have a 45 day return policy. If you use it and decided its the wrong colorColor blindness Color blindness tests Color vision test or that you just don't like it you can return it. I have tried bare escentals I have a few things from them, although I do prefer to get things from Arbonne.
It is only online (www.arbonne.com). I does seem a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys expensive but mine last forever. It has cleared my skin up so much that I do not have to use very much. I did find that it was cheaper to just sign up to get it @ wholesale. Get on the website and check it out.
p.s. I think it is endorsed by the National Modeling Association, I was impressed by that.
I love Arbonne too. I started using their RE9 stuff and bought the whole kit. I just ordered other stuff too so I became a rep. I ordered their makeup last week and I am expecting it to be delivered today. Yes,it's expensive, but well worth it.
Arbonne is the BEST! The RE9 line is truly the best stuff out there. I used a sample kit of it and got SO many compliments on my skin while I was using it and that NEVER happens to me! I have breakouts and they went away completely on this stuff. Too bad I can't afford to buy it right now! :(
I have used Bare Esscentuals and like it except that I have recently learned that the ingredient BismuthBismuth subcitrate potassium/metronidazo/tcn Bismuth subsalicyclate Bismuth subsalicylate Bismuth subsalicylate/metronidazole/tcn Oxide is toxic. It's true that it is found in other products (including some medications) but nontheless it is toxic and hard on a body's kidneys not to mention other organs especially if your body is incontact with it frequently (as in daily use of makeup). I try to be aware of what I put on and in my body. (The enviornmental working group is a good resource. EWG.org) Long story short- I found two other lines of mineral make up that I like: Afterglow and SignatureMinerals (both on line only) You can try samples to narrow down best colors. They both look and feel great on my skin. I don't care for the lip color products in the SignatureMineral line but I do like the lipsticks in the Afterglow line. They both have nice mineral foundations and other products. I am soooo particular about acheiving the most natural and "flawless" look with the healthiest make up I can find. :)
OK, I have used Bare Esscentual and it is really good. I also used Sheercover, it is ok. I just got in RAWMinerals and tried it today so far good. I wanted to try Arbonne and went online but couldn't order any of it... so where do I go? Also what is RE9 line? Do they have kits you can buy like Bare Esscentual's? If you can help, great. Thanks
RAWMinerals is not the real RAW minerals. They are actually RAW Natural Beauty....have a really bad reputation for riupping off customer with a free trial. You try to cancell your order, and get charged like 4 times, get no product...it is a horrible nightmare! Arbonne is great!...Bare Essentials is ok...makes my face itch...tried the real RAW minerals, a christian based company....was really nice too....watch out for that other company....RAW Natural Beauty....makes you wonder why they cahnged their name....bad seed....
I know I'm late to the forum, today's my first day. But, I use Sheer Cover and I love it! It covers my acne blemishes and hyperpigmintation and it doesn't look cakey.
I'm addicted to Madminerals ( www.madminreals.org ), especially their fabulous eyeshadows and mineral foundation. It does not contain bismuth and other irriteting fillers. And it works fine my skin.
LilyLolo I can also recommend. Espeially their bronzers and foundations. They does not contain any irritating fillers as well.
I personally have fallen in love with Bare Esscentuals. Having worked several years as a Licensed Aesthetician, I had become very picky about makeup. It has met all my expectations... and even more!!
Madminerals is closed due to a family emergency!!! I have heard of a line that isn't "shiny" when you use it and can't remember. If anyone knows of this line, please let me know. I think it was japanese based.
The best that I have used is Clarins Truly Matte foundation great coverage but feels very light , Another good one is Lorac breakthtough performance found.
When I got interested in mmu I visited a lot of sites and read a lot of reviews, boards, and forums. I was very impressed by Aromaleigh's product line - literally dozens of foundation colors in two formulas, plus concealers, shadows, lip products, brushes, etc. They have a very generous "sample" program that I used for a month to arrive at my best foundation match. The products look and feel wonderful and you get very good customer service from a one-woman-owned company, and she actively participates on the user forums. I really cannot recommend them highly enough. Visit the site and you'll see what I mean.
I have used Bare Esscentuals and really liked it , but i still got break outs occasionally Even though I use Pro Active 2 times a day. and it feels kinda heavy on you face. So I tried Sheer Cover and LOVE it. My skin doesn't break out and my skin looks flawless. You should give either a try, I'd start with Sheer Cover.
