New Oscar and Pleco with Alligator Snapping Turtle

Me and My Boyfriend got a 40 gallon tank and have a baby alligator snapping turtle in it. The boyfriend is really into the tank bought the best filter, heater, etc. Its been roughly 2 months and having already had snails and three types of feeder fish (Obvisouly these are not exactly pets since the turtle eats the fish) we just bought the Oscar and Pleco. Well just our luck the power went out only for 6 hours due to a storm and the tank got pretty cold THIS was the SAME night we put the newbies in the tank! So we got the temp up within hours and the Pleco seems fine and he is happy and normal, but the Oscar like I've seen so many people say has been laying on the bottom and he'll like tilt to the side WONT EAT. This is my biggest concern. I've been putting in Freeze dried brine shrimp I bought small slow guppies and I've been putting in a little extra of the regular fish flakes we feed the other fish and I even got him his own pellets like the pet store told me too. The only positive thing towards eating I've physically seen with MY EYES is he was sucking on a dead fish that the turtle had caught earlier. So I know he wants to eat..... anyways let me know if you've experienced this and what if anything should I do. I don't want to Isolate him if I don't need to! Thank You

Wow I actually never thought about losing power to our tank.  How are the newbies did they recover well after the tank got warm again?
