doe whole eye transplants to restore vision exist?

I have a 10 month old niece born blind due to a disease whose name I don't know.  Is there a possibility of a complete eye transplant to at least give her some sight?  Thank you.

Unfortunately, no. You would need to make 1.5 million reconnections to the brain, per eye. Each connection would have to be made with the exactly correct "wire."
